White
Elisa
By Paitin, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Elisa is named for Elisa Elia, who tended Paitin's only Roero vineyard, in Varinere di Priocca; her son Secondo first vinified the grapes under her name only after her death in 1973.
Tasting notes
The Roero Arneis presents a pale straw color with green reflections, exuding delicate aromas of white flowers, pear, and a touch of almond. On the palate, it is crisp and dry, with a refreshing acidity and a subtle mineral undertone.
