Campolive
By Paitin, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Campolive comes from a steep plot on the border between Serraboella and Bricco di Neive, historically named 'campo dell'oliva' by monks who once owned the site; Paitin has produced this Barbera since acquiring the property in 1991.
Tasting notes
Producer's note on the 2017 vintage: a promising vintage for Barbera, dense and straight, vibrant; the Campolive vineyard kept its balance and gave a wine with incredible character.
