Sorano is Mura Mura's Barolo DOCG, from one of the most prestigious and elegant vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba, inspired by the Kyoto tea ceremony to achieve sweet tannins and pure aromas.

Guyot training, density 4500 vines/ha, yield 42-45 hl/ha. Farmed under SQNPI protocols.
Vinification
Generous bleed (salasso) to avoid bitter notes and aggressive tannins; fermentation in 50 hl French oak tini, 12-16 days skin maceration with gentle pump-overs, maximum fermentation temperature 26C, inspired by the Kyoto tea ceremony to obtain sweet tannins and pure aromas. Aged 18 months in 30 hl French oak barrels, then a further 12 months in 400 litre ceramic amphorae, followed by 9 months in bottle.
