Orlando is a Barolo DOCG made from the youngest vines of the Sorano vineyard plus other vines from the same commune of Serralunga d'Alba, following the traditional Piedmontese practice of blending vineyards for balance and complexity.

- Vines trained contro-spalliera and pruned Guyot, density 4500 vines/ha, yield 60 q/ha.
- Vinification
- Pre-fermentation bleed of 5-15% depending on vintage; fermentation in 50 hl French oak tini, 12-15 days skin maceration with gentle pump-overs, maximum fermentation temperature 26C. Aged 18 months in 16 hl French oak barrels, then a further 12 months in 400 litre ceramic amphorae, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
