Pelaverga Piccolo from Verduno, a very old local variety harvested around the end of September or start of October.

Tasting notes

Ruby red tending towards cherry. Characteristic, fragrant and fruity aroma with evident spicy notes. Dry flavour with intense hints of spice and green pepper; pleasant acidity, moderate tannins, balance and full body.

Pairs well with

Traditional Langa dishes, especially cured meats and cheeses
