Gigi Rosso Langhe Rosato

A rosé from 100% Nebbiolo, with 24 hours of skin contact and several months on the lees in steel.

Tasting notes

Pale pink and brilliant. Rose petals, strawberry and melon. Fuller-bodied than most rosés, lightly tannic with a pleasantly long finish.

Pairs well with

Appetizers, fish and shellfish.

Vinification
Short skin contact (24 hours), then gentle pressing and cold static settling. Fermented at 15-17 C in stainless steel, then 4 to 5 months on fine lees with regular stirring, aged in steel until spring and bottled in spring. 13% alcohol.
