A single-cru Barolo from the Rocche Moriondino vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, aged 36 months in French tonneaux plus 6 in bottle.

Tasting notes

Garnet red. Ethereal perfume of dried flowers and aromatic herbs. Dry, warm and structured, with substantial tannin, ripe fruit and cherry compote and a delicate finish of spice. A long, persistent Barolo suited to long ageing.

Pairs well with

Braised meat, grilled meat, risotto al Barolo.

Vinification
Natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks with automatic temperature control. Fermentation ends in 10 to 12 days, maceration continues at least another 8 to 10 days with daily pump-overs. Aged 36 months in French oak tonneaux and 6 months in bottle. 15% alcohol.
