Gigi Rosso Trecomuni

A Barolo blended from Serralunga d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto and Novello, conceived by Maurizio Rosso in 2012 and aged 36 months in large casks.

Tasting notes

Medium garnet. Dried strawberries and blood orange with rhubarb, forest floor, aged leather, clove and a touch of licorice. Medium-bodied, with balanced acidity and silky tannins.

Pairs well with

Braised meats, aged cheeses, truffle risotto and game.

Vinification
Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for 12 to 15 days with regular punch-downs. Aged 36 months in large oak casks and 6 months in bottle. Altitude 250 to 400 m; 14.5% alcohol.
Serving temperature
18-20 C (64-68 F); decant at least 45 minutes before serving
