A single-vineyard Barolo from Gattera, the oldest vineyard on the estate, in the lower part of La Morra. First released in 1977 as Gattera dell'Annunziata.
Tasting notes
Ruby red with brick red highlights. Traditional bouquet with scents of ripe fruit and chocolate. Full-bodied with excellent structure and elegant, very persistent tannin.

- 1 hectare at 270 m above sea level, Guyot training; the estate's oldest vineyard, with plants of the old Lampia, Michet and Rosé biotypes
- Vinification
- Soft crushing, then fermentation with indigenous yeasts for about 15 days in temperature-controlled wooden vats, with regular pumping over, followed by medium-long maceration with the submerged cap technique. Racking and malolactic fermentation follow. The wine ages 20 to 24 months in oak barrels, then rests a few months in concrete tanks before bottling.
