A Bordeaux-Piedmont blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Barbera and Nebbiolo, aged in barriques.
Tasting notes
Deep ruby colour with ripe red fruit, cassis, tobacco and spice. Sweet tannins with complex fruity flavours, good structure and long persistence. The producer notes that Merlot and Cabernet have adapted very well to the Monferrato hills.
Pairs well with
Lamb, tongue, roasts, braises, oily blue fish, cheeses.

- Hand-picked and selected before crushing.
- Vinification
- Fermentation in stainless steel at 28 C with 21 days of maceration; malolactic fermentation takes place naturally in European oak barriques. Matured in barriques for at least 14 months, then 10 months in bottle. Ageing potential 10 to 12 years.
