A Nebbiolo from the Nebbiaia vineyard on sandy soil, aged at least 12 months in Slavonian oak.

Tasting notes

Not very intense ruby red. Fine, delicate, persistent bouquet recalling wild strawberry and raspberry. Pleasantly bitter, velvety, light and full at once.

Pairs well with

Spit-roasted and grilled red meats, game, fonduta with truffles, agnolotti, white and red meat dishes with spiced sauces.

Late October, the last grapes picked; the vineyard is named for the thick morning fog (nebbia).
Vinification
After destemming and crushing, alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at 26-28 C with 15 days of maceration; malolactic fermentation is spontaneous. Matured in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 12 months, then rests in the cellar after bottling. Ageing potential 12 to 15 years.
