Sparkling
Rosanna
By Ettore Germano, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Rosanna is a rosé sparkling wine made by the classic method from a variety the estate describes only as historic and local, aged about 18 months on its lees.
Tasting notes
The wine has a soft but bright pink colour, animated by a fine bead. On the nose, fresh fruit and red and white flower notes emerge, enriched by a light yeasty nuance that gives depth. On the palate the entry is full and dynamic, with a long, persistent freshness, supported by a light tannin that gives balance and a subtle austerity.
