Riserva Blanc de Noir Pas Dosé

By Ettore Germano, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy

Ettore Germano Riserva Blanc de Noir Pas Dosé

A Blanc de Noir from Pinot Nero, aged at least 65 months on its lees and disgorged with no dosage, from 15-year-old vines in Cigliè.

Tasting notes

The wine has an intense straw yellow colour, crossed by a fine, persistent bead. On the nose, red fruit and aromatic herbs emerge, wrapped in nuances from the long lees ageing. On the palate the freshness is broad and precise, supported by the creaminess of the carbonation and the structure given by the extended time on the lees; the finish is long and decisive.
