Vigna Misobolo

By Cieck, Canavese, Piemonte, Italy

Cieck Vigna Misobolo

Vigna Misobolo is Cieck's single-vineyard Erbaluce, from a historic plot on the hill of San Giorgio over 50 years old, first planted with white grapes alone by founder Remo Falconieri in the 1970s while he was the town's mayor.

Tasting notes

Straw yellow with greenish highlights; fragrant bouquet of pear and hawthorn with a lingering mineral sensation; structured, powerful palate with good body and acidity, and a savoury finish

Pairs well with

Fish, thanks to its crisp, dry character, and also good with vegetables and mild cheeses
