Cieck Alladium Riserva

Alladium Riserva is Cieck's reserve passito, made only in the best years from hand-selected bunches and aged at least ten years in barrel before release in just a few bottles, intended for life's more important moments.

Tasting notes

Amber colour; enveloping bouquet of dried fruit and nuts, chestnut honey, candied fruit and roast coffee beans; full, enveloping palate with a particularly deep taste and an almond finish

Pairs well with

Pastries, dried fruit and nuts, blue cheeses, terrines and pâtés; a meditation wine or unusual aperitif, best served in small stemmed glasses

Vinification
Best, healthiest, thin-skinned bunches are selected and dried naturally on traditional racks, protected from mould while allowing noble rot to develop; grapes are gently pressed in a small wooden press in January, the cold must settles and then ferments; ages at least 10 years in small oak barrels, followed by six months in bottle; made only in the best vintages, in very limited quantity
