Cieck Sust

Sust is Cieck's Nebbiolo, grown with an espalier Guyot system and Remo Falconieri's own 'double row' method; the Piedmontese name means desire, or care, for an understated, unshowy red.

Tasting notes

Intense colour with a dark garnet rim; fine, elegant bouquet with good persistence, violet, sour cherry and faint spice; impressive, thick tannic structure with a ripe-fruit and dog-rose aftertaste

Pairs well with

Slow-cooked meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, and pasta dishes such as tagliatelle with meat sauce
