Rosé Brut is a traditional-method sparkling rosé made from the estate's oldest Falconieri-family vineyards of traditional red varieties trained on pergola, first made by Remo Falconieri in the 1990s.
Tasting notes
Dull ruby red with a fine, persistent perlage; fruity bouquet of redcurrant and raspberry with rose and crusty-bread notes; full, harmonious palate with a frothy fullness and a balanced, persistent aftertaste
Pairs well with
Delicately flavoured antipasti, cured meats, fish, white meats and vegetables, and particularly seafood or fish risottos

- Brut style. Whole grapes are soft-pressed with skin contact limited to the duration of pressing, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation and a second, in-bottle fermentation; the producer's page states both 'at least 30 months on lees' and, in the cellar description, 'at least 48 months' before the lees are removed; bottles then undergo manual remuage and degorgement, followed by a further six months in bottle
