Boeri's Monferrato Nebbiolo with a little Barbera, dedicated to grandfather Giovanni, nicknamed Noto. 3,000 to 4,000 bottles a year at 14% vol, suggested cellaring of 12 to 15 years.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red. Sweet cherry jam, liquorice and aromatic herbs; fruit dominates an ample body with a touch of oak spice and silky tannins. Aromatic notes: rose, cherry, liquorice.
Pairs well with
Egg pasta, stuffed pasta, pasta with ragout, roasted meat second courses.

- Gentle pressing, fermentation on the skins for about 7 to 8 days, vinified in steel and bottled without filtration (per the page intro). Aged 12 months in new barriques.
