White
Beviòn
By Boeri Vini, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
Chardonnay named after the former owner of a historic vineyard that grandfather Alfonso bought in the 1950s. About 10,000 bottles a year at 12.5% vol, suggested cellaring of 2 to 3 years.
Tasting notes
Hay yellow with golden hue. Elegant aromas of sweet lemon; fresh and medium-bodied with ripe fruit, a crisp savoury finish. Aromatic notes: pear, apple, citrus, straw.
Pairs well with
Light antipasti, delicate first courses, fish: asparagus risotto, creamy codfish, vegetable flan, oven-baked king prawns.
