Tasting notes
Deep ruby red, acquiring elegant garnet highlights with age. Bouquet of red fruit, bitter chocolate and coffee that turns spicier and more wild with time. Dry, robust flavour, with dense body, roundedness and character.

- Grapes selected in the vineyard by manual harvest, fermentation and maceration for about 15 days in stainless steel vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in November. Aged in oak casks of 40-65 hl for 16 months, assembled in spring and bottled in summer. 8,000-10,000 bottles produced. From the 2014 vintage the estate's Barbera d'Asti became a Nizza DOCG under the new denomination's rules.
