Poderi e Cantine Oddero Barolo

The estate's classic Barolo, a blend of two La Morra and Castiglione Falletto crus, aged 30 months in large oak barrels plus a further 6 months in bottle before release.

Tasting notes

Brilliant garnet-red color, with warmer tinges developing over time. Intense yet ethereal, very persistent bouquet, at times spiced, with aromas of truffle, liquorice and dried flowers. Dry taste, with important, full tannins.

The wines are aged separately in 40, 60 and 75 hectoliter Slavonian and Austrian oak barrels for 30 months, blended in spring, then bottled at the end of summer and aged a further 6 months in bottle before release. About 30,000 bottles produced.
Storage
After bottling, the bottles are stored in racks in our storage cellar at a controlled temperature of around 15 °C and 70% humidity.
