Tasting notes

Intense ruby red with purple hints, a vinous, sometimes fruity aroma, and a dry, full-bodied taste with a pleasant touch of bitterness.

Two plots: Castiglione Falletto, sheet 7, sub-plots 57-58 (0.6 ha, 300 m asl, southern exposure, vines 30 years old) and La Morra (Le Ru), plot 21, sub-plot 499 (0.6 ha, 280 m asl, southwestern exposure, vines 40-50 years old).

Vinification
Grapes selected in the vineyard, fermentation and maceration for about 12 days in stainless steel, followed by malolactic fermentation in November. Aged in stainless steel then bottled the following spring, on the market from early summer. 10,000 bottles produced.
