Barbera d'Alba Superiore
By Poderi e Cantine Oddero, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
A Barbera d'Alba Superiore from plots in Castiglione Falletto and La Morra, aged 16 months in French oak.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby red with purple tinges, a bouquet of cherry, blackberry, small red fruit and pepper, with mineral flavors and an excellent dash of freshness. Soft, fresh tannins that keep the classic Barbera backbone, thanks to its pleasant acidity.
