Red
Vanotu
By Pelissero, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
Barbaresco from the 1964 Vanotu vineyard, named in dialect after Giorgio Pelissero's grandfather Giovanni, the vineyard's former owner.
Tasting notes
Deep, broad ruby red. Raspberry and cherry with soft vanilla from the wood, rose, sage, mint, thyme and chamomile, which the estate calls the signature of this soil. Velvety, broad and enveloping on the palate, with sweet, persistent tannins and a structure built for long ageing.
