Red
Long Now
By Pelissero, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
A blend of two varieties from a steep vineyard bought in 1999, named after the Long Now Foundation's clock, which is pictured on the label.
Tasting notes
Bluish violet, almost black and hard to see through, yet lively. Very ripe blackberry, raspberry and red cherry, with barely perceptible vanilla. Powerful, open, full and velvety on the palate, with savouriness and elegance.
