Red
Nubiola
By Pelissero, Barbaresco, Piemonte, Italy
The estate's entry-level Barbaresco, blended from six small plots and first made in 2001; the name Nubiola is an old word for Nebbiolo.
Tasting notes
Lively, inviting ruby red. Floral and fruity notes from ripe red fruit to medicinal herbs. Soft, savoury and velvety, with a note of sweetness and roundness from ripe grapes and a slightly dry, astringent finish typical of Nebbiolo.
