Tasting notes

On the nose, notes of plum, raspberry, ripe red and black cherry, blackberry, licorice, mint and tobacco. Classic, rich and powerful on the palate, with silky, well-integrated tannins.

Pairs well with

Pasta with meat ragù, braised or roasted red meats, game. Aged cheeses.

Vinification
After a gentle destemming, the must ferments in steel tanks. The wine then stays in contact with the skins in post-maceration. After drawing off, malolactic fermentation develops naturally, and the wine is then moved to wood.
Storage
Aged in oak and cement tanks.
