Red
Srü
By Monchiero Carbone, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Roero DOCG from the Srü cru in Canale, a sandy, fossil-rich vineyard giving elegant, balanced Nebbiolo that can age over 15 years.
Tasting notes
Lively, bright soft ruby-red. Complex aromas of raspberry with spice and licorice undertones. Austere entry with tannins that soften into a long, stylish finish.
Pairs well with
T-bone steaks and grilled veal fillets, or pasta with meat sauce.
