White
Cecu d'la Biunda
By Monchiero Carbone, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Roero Arneis DOCG blending grapes from the Tanone and Renesio Incisa crus, dedicated to grandfather Francesco Carbone, known as Cecu d'la Biunda.
Tasting notes
Intense, brilliant straw yellow. Great aromatic intensity, with a deep bouquet that develops slowly towards fresh aromas ranging from pineapple to white currant. The palate opens with marked freshness and gradually shows a powerful, enveloping character, building to a rich, very persistent finish led by savouriness.
Pairs well with
Seafood risottos and oven-baked fish.
