MonBirone
By Monchiero Carbone, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Barbera d'Alba DOC from the Mombirone cru where the family's wine-making tradition began in 1918, first bottled from the 1961 vintage.
Tasting notes
Dark and deep with intense ruby and purple tones. Aromas from wet woodland to cocoa, spicy juniper notes with morello cherry and plum. Complex, layered entry with a long, fresh finish.
Pairs well with
