Sweet
Anthos Passito
By Matteo Correggia, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Sweet red made from the same aromatic variety as Anthos, from semi-dried grapes, aged 6 months in steel, bottled in 375ml format in an average of 1,800 bottles a year.
Tasting notes
Anthos, a red wine from dried grapes, displays a deep ruby color with concentrated aromas of dried fruit, prune, and sweet spices. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with a velvety texture and a long, complex finish.
Pairs well with
Meringues with marron glacé, recommended by Ristorante Il Centro di Priocca
