Barrel fermented Chardonnay from one of Piedmont's oldest Chardonnay vineyards (planted 1978), generally ready after 12-18 months with a 2 to 3 year ageing potential.
Tasting notes
Pale straw colour increasing in intensity over time. Flowery scents with tropical fruit, golden apple, honey, vanilla and breadcrust hues, with interesting mineral notes. Full bodied and intense on the palate, never aggressive.
Pairs well with
Tasty fish dishes, white meat, grilled meat, flans, vegetables.

- Vinified in 300 litre French oak barrels at 12C for 3 to 7 months, then on the lees for 9 months at 12-13C with frequent batonnage, with possible partial malolactic fermentation.
