A blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Albarossa, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from estate vineyards, able to age 6 to 12 years.
Tasting notes
Crimson red changing to garnet red after a few years of ageing. Bouquet of dark currants, raspberry, vanilla and almond with smoked hues. Complex with good structure, good tannins and a remarkable balance.
Pairs well with
Lamb, game, red and grilled meat.

- Estate vineyards mostly at 200 metres above sea level on a 5-10% slope facing South-East, a second vineyard at 170 metres facing North-East, plus a Barbera vineyard

- Markedly alkaline, poor in organic matter, draining and mixed with tuff flakes on the main plot; alkaline and clayey and deep on the second

- September 10th to October 10th, depending on the season
- Vinification
- Traditional vinification in steel and oak vats, followed by the first racking and storage of 100% of the product in oak casks of 300 or 2,000 litres. A second racking is performed between November and April and a third in late August the following year.
