Red
Bric Aût
By Generaj, Roero, Piemonte, Italy
Roero DOCG Nebbiolo from the Tucci vineyard, named ‘bricco alto’ (high hill) in dialect for its summit position. 14 to 15% ABV.
Tasting notes
Dense garnet colour. On the nose, wide and intense, with notes of violet, yellow peach, cherry and hints of pepper and mint. On the palate, ample and soft; firm structure balances controlled acidity and alcoholic power, letting the fruit open gradually in full correspondence between aroma and taste, dominated by red fruit. Long, persistent finish with sweet, fine-grained tannins.
Pairs well with
Rich first and second courses, braised meats, medium-aged cheeses.
