Spumante Brut
By Dogliotti 1870, Asti, Piemonte, Italy
A dry Vino Spumante Brut from Pinot Nero and Chardonnay, made with the Martinotti (Charmat) method, refermented in autoclave for over six months.
Tasting notes
Light straw yellow. Fine, continuous perlage; a white, persistent mousse. Fragrant, dry and complex on the nose. Dry, sapid, and slightly bitter on the palate. Recommended in a not-too-wide glass.
Pairs well with
Excellent as an aperitif and for toasts; at the table pairs perfectly with well-structured first courses, elegant mains, fried fish, grilled vegetables and strong cheeses.
