A Barbaresco DOCG made from 100% Nebbiolo, aged a minimum of two years including one in wood.
Tasting notes
Intense garnet red with orange reflections. Complex, rich and ethereal on the nose, with notes of cherry jam, cinnamon, vanilla and violet. Full, dry, velvety and harmonious on the palate, appropriately tannic, with a slightly bitter finish. Recommended in a large glass.
Pairs well with
Pairs well with egg pastas, risottos, game, and hearty roasted or braised meats, mushrooms, and hard or soft aged cheeses; also good as an aperitif or base for long drinks.
