Red
Bricco del Conte
By Castello di Uviglie, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy
One of the estate's most popular reds, made from Barbera grown in historic vineyards farmed under sustainability principles.
Tasting notes
Appearance: bright, intense ruby red. Nose: fresh red fruit, cherry, strawberries, with chocolate, hay and aromatic herbs. Palate: traditional Barbera at its best, with ripe, intense red fruit and typical freshness, balanced by a persuasive softness and pleasant persistence.
Pairs well with
Very versatile: cured meats, first courses, red and white meats, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses.
