Centum

By Agricola Sulin, Monferrato, Piemonte, Italy

Agricola Sulin Centum

Centum is Sulin's Barbera del Monferrato DOC, named to mark the estate's 1919 centenary. It is vinified in stainless steel at controlled temperature and aged in bottle for at least 10 months, giving a full bodied wine with an intense Barbera bouquet suited to long aging. It is also bottled as a 1.5 L magnum, and an extra-aged reserve is released under the estate's Memoriae label.

Tasting notes

Deep red with crimson reflections and a distinctive purple rim. Winy, clear and continuous bouquet, ethereal with wild berry scents. Genuine, dense and velvety on the palate, with an important structure.

Pairs well with

First courses, meat and roast meat. Also good with cheese.
