A Barbaresco Riserva from the estate's Cascina Bordino vineyards on the east side of Treiso, aged at least 50 months.

Tasting notes

Lively garnet red with purple nuances. Intense bouquet of wild rose, violet and ripe red fruit with ethereal spicy notes. Elegant and complex in the mouth, fruity and full-bodied with dense, silky tannins.

Pairs well with

Excellent with rich first courses and hearty main courses such as red meat and braises, game, and mature cheeses.

Vinification
Fermentation with submerged cap maceration lasts 10 to 12 days at 28 °C. Aged first in oak tonneau and then in large barrels for at least 36 months, followed by bottling and ageing for at least 50 months counted from 1 November of the harvest year.
