Sweet
Moscato d'Asti
By Poderi Marcarini, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
Moscato d'Asti is Marcarini's sweet, lightly sparkling dessert wine, made from the ancient white Moscato of Piedmont grown in the estate's Cascina Sargentin vineyards in Neviglie.
Tasting notes
Brilliant straw-yellow with soft green reflections; a delicate white froth gives a fine, persistent perlage; an aromatic, floral and fruity nose; sweet and fresh on the palate, smooth and rich with musky Moscato character and long aromatic persistence.
Pairs well with
Fresh pastries and cakes, panettone, baked desserts and fruit.
