Poderi Marcarini Lasarin

Lasarin is a Langhe Nebbiolo from Marcarini's youngest Nebbiolo-Barolo vines and from vineyards in Neviglie, made to be fresh and easy to drink while carrying the grape's noble character.

Tasting notes

Subdued ruby-red colour; a full nose of flowers, raspberries and blackberries; dry, balanced, velvety and pleasantly tannic on the palate, becoming smoother with a little bottle age.

Pairs well with

Pasta dishes without heavy sauce, white meat, grilled meat and fresh cheeses.

Estate-wide, Marcarini's vineyards are pruned to limit yield, maintained with organic composting and controlled grassing over of the rows, and vine diseases are treated with traditional methods.
Vinification
About ten days of traditional fermentation with the must macerated on the skins at a relatively low temperature; the wine is matured to preserve its natural freshness and fragrance.
