Barolo del Comune di La Morra, introduced in 2015 with the arrival of the new generation of the family, blends grapes from Marcarini's historic La Morra vineyards to express the character of the commune's Tortonian soils.
Tasting notes
Garnet red with ruby reflections. The nose is rich, fresh and dominated by florality, with notes of violet and rose petals; the aromatic persistence is long and intense.

- 4,000 vines/ha, free-standing espalier with Guyot pruning, rootstocks Kober 5BB and 420A, planted 1978-2001, altitude 300-380 m above sea level. Estate-wide, Marcarini's vineyards are pruned to limit yield, maintained with organic composting and controlled grassing over of the rows, and vine diseases are treated with traditional methods.

- Introduced in 2015, this Barolo blends grapes from several of Marcarini's historic vineyards across the commune of La Morra, vinified together to express the character of the Tortonian soils and to give a wine that reaches its peak sooner and is approachable young.
