Barolo from half a hectare of Nebbiolo planted in 1969 at Villero, Castiglione Falletto; about 3,500 bottles a year.

Tasting notes

Brilliant intense colour turning slightly amber, exuberant fruit and spice, big structure, full and velvety, with a long finish of tar and spice. 2022 vintage sheet: savoury red fruit with sour cherries, blood oranges, dark liquorice, peach stones and chopped herbs; medium-full, structured, tight but refined tannins, silky smooth mid-palate, long and even.
