Poderi Luigi Einaudi Ludo

The estate's classic Barolo, blended from its youngest plots across several hills; about 30,000 bottles a year. The name evokes "playing" with the different parcels.

Tasting notes

Brilliant garnet red turning slightly amber with time, exuberant in fruit and spice, full-bodied, full and velvety, with a long finish of tar and spice. 2022 vintage sheet: fresh, fragrant nose with cherries, dried cranberries, rose hips, sandalwood and dried orange; juicy, medium-bodied, dusty tannins, savoury red fruit, vivid acidity, structured and chalky.
