Red
Argante
By Pietro Rinaldi, Alba, Piemonte, Italy
Argante is Pietro Rinaldi's Langhe DOC Nebbiolo from vineyards in Alba, aged 12 months in oak tonneaux.
Tasting notes
Delicate ruby red with orange reflections. Intense nose of flowers such as rose and violet, ripe cherry and raspberry, with mineral and spicy notes. A surprisingly elegant wine with balanced tannins, hints of licorice, pleasant in the mouth with a persistent, nice aftertaste.
Pairs well with
Robust pasta dishes like risotto or agnolotti, and any kind of meat, from veal cutlets to lamb chops and roasted kid.
