Pietro Rinaldi

Pietro Rinaldi

Pietro Rinaldi Winery sits in the Madonna di Como hamlet of Alba, in the Langhe hills. The family has deep roots here: great-grandfather Pietro and grandfather Costanzo produced Nebbiolo, Barbera and Moscato from 1920, and the family carries the work on today. The vineyards lie on steep slopes with soils of limestone and clay, white marls and a hard, compact grey clay substrate. Through its Green Experience programme the estate favours sustainable viticulture, with green manure, mating disruption and no chemical herbicides between the rows. The range covers Barolo, two Barbaresco crus, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Arneis in two versions, a rosato and Moscato d'Asti.
