Montalbera Il Don

Il Don is Montalbera's Monferrato DOC Nebbiolo, aged partly in stainless steel and partly in French oak barrels.

Tasting notes

Intense purple red with slight brick reflections. Intense, persistent, powerful and characteristic nose with typical Nebbiolo hints of dried rose and violet, slightly spiced with cloves, black pepper, nutmeg and a hint of light jam. Graceful in its power on the palate, with slightly expressed tannin and the acidity typical of Monferrato Nebbiolo.
