Massolino - Vigna Rionda Vigna Rionda Riserva

Il Vino Bello rating: 5 / 5

Massolino's flagship Barolo, vinified separately from the Vigna Rionda MGA since 1982 and held back in the cellar until its sixth year.

Tasting notes

Bright garnet red. Broad, evolving bouquet moving from red fruit and flowers to brushwood, tobacco and spice with age. Complex, long-lived and structured on the palate with unparalleled elegance, released only in its sixth year as a Riserva.

Pairs well with

Pairs with meat dishes rich in intense, persistent aromas, and with mature cheeses; also enjoyed on its own as a meditation wine.
