Sweet
Moscato d'Asti
By Massolino - Vigna Rionda, Barolo, Piemonte, Italy
An aromatic Moscato d'Asti DOCG grown around Serralunga d'Alba, made by Massolino since 1993 and best uncorked just before pouring.
Tasting notes
Bright straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage. Fresh and intense bouquet with a clear predominance of sage. Expansive and enveloping on the palate, not overly sweet, with a long finish.
Pairs well with
Suited to desserts such as Langhe hazelnut cake, apple and pine-nut cake, lemon cake, fruit puffs and panettone; also good with mature, slightly spicy cheeses.
