Steel-only vinified to highlight its fruit, Massolino's Barbera d'Alba DOC has been made since 1896 and is released the spring after harvest.
Tasting notes
Deep purplish red. Elegant, sweet and tempting bouquet with intense fruity notes. Vinous, fresh and well balanced on the palate, easy to drink.
Pairs well with
Perfect with Langhe cuisine: pasta, rice, soup, braised or grilled red meats, medium-mature cheeses, and as an aperitif with appetisers and cured meats.

- Ferments 10-12 days in stainless steel at around 30°C, followed by malolactic fermentation and a short period in stainless steel. Bottled and released in spring after harvest. First produced in 1896.
